What is Shabby Chic?
Shabby Chic is an interior design where items, gifts and furniture are either chosen for their appearance of age and signs of wear and tear or where new items are distressed to achieve the appearance of antiques.
Do you deliver to the USA?
Yes, we deliver our Shabby Chic goodies anywhere in the world. However, please click here for more information.
Do you have any other Shabby Chic decor?
Yes we have lots of Shabby Chic decor and Shabby Chic accessories. Many are not added to our website yet but we will be adding new items over the next few weeks. Please make sure you check back frequently for updates. We are also able to provide larger items of furniture on request.
Can all items be personalised?
If there is room on an item for a personalised message, in either Welsh or English, we can do it. We also make our own handmade items, such as Shabby Chic hearts, plaques and cut out words to order.
Can the customised items be painted in any colour?
All our own handmade Shabby Chic items can be painted in any colour that you require.
How can I pay for my order?
Once placing your order, you will continue to checkout. There you have the option of paying by debit/credit card or Paypal. If you choose to pay by debit/credit card you will enter a secure site to enter your card details.
If you would rather pay with your card over the telephone, just complete your order, then call us and we can then take payment on our secure terminal. You will then be sent your slip with your order.
How do I return unwanted goods?
We do hope that you love your ordered items and we do make our pictures as true a representation of our items as possible, but if for any reason the goods are not what you were expecting, you may return the item, for a full refund, within 14 days of purchase. We only refund postage if the item is faulty. Please contact us within 3 days of receipt of the item if it is faulty, so that we may discuss the options.
We make it as easy as possible by just asking that you securely repackage the item, insert your full name and order number, then post it back to us. As soon as we receive the item, we will notify you by email and refund your card immediately.
How long will I have to wait for my order?
Your order will be posted within 3 working days of receipt of the order, as long as the goods are in stock. Some parcels are sent via our courier, so could be with you on the next working day after receipt of the order, depending on what time you placed your order and our current work load. Please contact us for any special requirements.
We try to recycle all our boxes and packaging, this helps to keep costs down for us and you, but mainly helps the environment.
Is is safe to shop online?
Yes it is extremely safe. When you get to the point on our website where you are required to enter your card details, you will see a padlock icon on the top right corner of the page. This indicates that you are using a secure connection and that all information entered will be encrypted. Credit card payments are handled by Paypal.
Will my delivery require a signature?
Some orders are dispatched via courier and automatically require a signature. Please bear this in mind when placing your order so that the address has someone to sign for your parcel. An alternative delivery address can be entered (ie workplace, neighbour, family etc). If you would like your parcel to be left in a secure place on your property (ie behind bins, at a side entrance, in the shed etc), please let us know. However, we will not be held responsible if an item goes missing once it has been left on your property.
